This is a simple yet innovative solution to repairing and cleaning weapons in the field. It is a mat that holds small parts and a fair ammount of cleaning supplies. It rolls up into a small package not much larger than a standard issue M-16 cleaning kit, Here are some pictures of the mat in action with an AR15
We take a look at an 18 inch version of the Robinson Armament XCR-L Modular Rifle.
An interesting gas piston AR-15 style rifle that shares many common parts with the AR-15

Two gas piston AR-15 type rifles.
We take a look at them and talk about simmilarities and differences.

We turned on the camera while we sighted in this high quality AR-15 SBR (Registered Short Barreled Rifle)
We adjusted the Aimpoint T1 optic mount, so we needed to sight in the T1 again on this AR15.
We went to 25 yards to "get it on paper"
Then we moved to the 200 yard range (against the berm on the left, the closer ones to the right are at 100 yards)
We quickly brought the rounds up to the center and finished off with a few decent groups from this short barreled (only 11.5") AR15 ..full

We each shoot differently, and one thing we thought about recently is how we perform a shoulder to shoulder transition with the AR15 (or similar rifle)
One style (Method One) is to move with a shooting grip to the other shoulder, fire if needed, then move to an off hand grip
Method Two has you grab the rifle with off hand, move it and acquire a shooting grip as you shoulder on the other shoulder..
We saw this EOtech at the range today. It worked well the week before, then it wouldn't turn on this morning. It looks like the rubber part at the back of the battery container had dissolved
